1. True Water have trialled and worked with every brand of tank available in the wastewater industry. We only use systems that last, have no smell or noise, prevent breakdowns and are cost effective.
2. True Water work with you at every stage. Rather than a home owner dealing with; a consultant, a supplier, and an installer from different companies, True Water work with you at every stage. We take responsibility at each stage to give the service and quality you want and provide a streamlined service that delivers the best possible outcome and saves you money.
A home sewage treatment plant collects wastewater from your toilets, shower, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The purification process involves the biological breakdown of waste and sewage within the various chambers of the tank. This process involves anaerobic (no aeration) and aerobic (with aeration) digestion where micro-organisms break down waste products and contaminants.
As the wastewater flows through the chambers, contact with the bacteria improve water quality before disinfection takes place.
The Fuji Clean is Japanese. Japan has the biggest and most advanced sewage treatment industry in the world and is 20-30 years ahead of Australia. Due to the population and the small space, all houses in Japan must have home STPs. Japan has more than 10 millions systems, about 25 times more than Australia. Each of the 10 million systems are tested by the government every year, and every system must comply. Therefore, the performance of the Fuji Clean is much, much higher than any domestic system in Australia. Fuji Clean use media within the chambers of the STP to filter and purify, using less power and providing better treatment than any other system available in Australia.
Home Sewerage Treatment Plants (HSTPs) provide multi-chamber tanks to separate waste and undertake different treatment processes. They also contain media within the chambers as a surface for bacteria to grow on and breakdown the waste matter. Aeration is applied through an air pump which invigorates aerobic bacteria activity. A septic tank only relies on anaerobic bacteria to breakdown waste and the settlement of solids is the main process. This results in the putrid water leaving the system being full of contaminants and bacteria. Output quality from the Fuji Clean home sewerage treatment plant is far better than septic water and this allows the water to be used for irrigation.
Yes. We have designed, supplied and installed systems in areas with high groundwater, domestic bores, in close proximity to rivers, lakes, dams and beaches, flood zones and even drinking water catchments.
Not True Water Australia systems. A healthy system has a balance of bacteria that nullifies odours as part of the wastewater treatment process. Our systems are also well sealed.
As with mains sewers, any products that are labelled as hazardous materials should never be disposed of down the drain. Hazardous materials are often labelled as corrosive, toxic, reactive or flammable. In addition, “disposable” wet wipes, baby wipes, nappies and sanitary products should be disposed into a garbage system.
The treated water is disposed of through a method approved by the Local Council. The majority of the time, this is via sub-surface application through irrigation or trenches in a designated location on your property. The treated water is highly beneficial by drought-proofing your gardens and lawns.
The Fuji Clean home STP has inbuilt storage capacity to ensure continued use until power is restored. Importantly the system can still receive and process wastewater through its unique gravity transfer operation. When power is restored, the tank does not need to be reset in order to start operating, this will happen automatically when power is restored.
No. The systems are designed to cope with occasional flows well above normal operating capacity. The rate of treatment increases as the flows into the system increase, and vice versa for lower flows. The system will operate normally.
Prices for installation vary from site to site. The cost to supply and install a home STP including the disposal system starts at around $11,500 depending on your location, size of your home and the method of disposal selected.
Power cost for our systems are as low as $130 per annum connected to mains power. All home sewerage treatment plants require servicing as per manufacturer, Local Council and NSW Health Guidelines. Systems that use aeration need servicing every 3 months. Costs vary depending on your area.
Consideration should be given to quantities and strengths of cleaning products more than what can and can’t be used. Generally antibacterial, bleach, ammonium and caustic products should be used sparingly to avoid disruption to vital bacteria.
Your Local Council will review the property and advise weather a HSTP is allowed. True Waters solutions can provide long term cost savings when compared to the cost to dispose through municipal sewerage infrastructure and when considering council rates.
The Fuji Clean system has a 15-year warranty for the tank and internal componentry and a 2-year warranty for electrical components. The system must be maintained correctly with quarterly servicing by a certified technician to maintain the warranty.
True Water installs home sewage treatment plants that are compact, sealed and quiet. The lack of noise and odour means they can be situated very close to your home. The system can be as close as 1.5 metres to a building in many locations. It can be placed in various positions around your property to maximise usability. Contact True Water for advice on ideal system placement for your home.
Yes, systems installed by True Water are accredited in every state in Australia as a sewage management facility for use in single domestic premises . They also have ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) Accreditation. The strict new Australian accreditation test will be implemented in 2020 and the Fuji Clean STP has already surpassed the new requirements.
